Professor Stewart is Canada’s most senior American Kenpo (8th Dan) and Kyusho-Jitsu (9th Dan) martial artist. He previously held the positions of Canadian Representative and International Director for the WKKA (Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association). Professor Stewart was also a member of the WKKA National Demonstration Team from 1996 to 2001, and he appeared at numerous major events in both Canada and the United States. His introduction to martial arts began in August 1973.
Professor Stewart has appeared in a number of martial arts magazines over the years, including Black Belt, Inside Kung Fu, Budo, Martial Arts Business Online, and most recently, Martial Arts Professional Magazine (December 2004 Issue). Professor Stewart’s work has also appeared in martial arts publications in Australia, Europe, and France. He has appeared on local television (Rogers Cable) and as a guest on “Breakfast Television.” Blue Dragon Entertainment approached him in April 2003 about a role in the film “TRANSFORMED.” He teaches seminars all over the world to martial artists of all styles who want to incorporate the art of Kyusho into their practice. Even as a Kenpo Stylist, he believes that the art of Kyusho (Pressure Point Combat) can increase one’s knowledge of their art by 200 percent.
