Lee Morrison – New Blood Seminar 3
Salepage : Lee Morrison – New Blood Seminar 3
On Sunday, January 27, 2013, UC hosted the third in a series of seminars called NEW BLOOD, which promoted some of the best up-and-coming instructors on the Combatives Circuit today; guys from a well-established lineage implementing their own individual take on the principles of Personal Security and Combative Hard Skills to a privileged class audience.
Beginning with senior UC Ireland teacher Jon Mackey’s opinion on street-applied skills linked to Counter Knife from observation and actual experience, Jon’s perspective comes from both sides of the coin – how the criminal acts, and your alternatives when confronted with the same.
Mario Korizma, a prominent European coach, came after him.
This guy is a senior pupil of Branimir Tudjan and symbolizes his nation of Croatia’s own distinct perspective on combatives.
His motto is straightforward: HIT HARD and BE HARD TO HIT! This was illustrated with value here.
The Czech Republic’s Martin Mikolasek was up next.
He is one of four UC representatives in CZ; Martin is a senior and runs his own RBSD school, using UC, RBSD methods from other schools, and Rodney King’s Crazy Monkey.
Martin’s knowledge and presentation of exercises, which he accomplished here in intimidating flair, distinguishes him.
My oldest cousin, Daniel Morrison, stepped up next.
Dan is a senior first generation UC instructor who has been training since he was a child.
From a Self Protection standpoint, Dan is a chip off the old block in terms of his capacity to materialize rapid, direct, and explosive ‘in your face’ violence.
His approach here uses the constraints and restrictions of ECQ to rapidly turn the tables from a Counter Offensive standpoint.
Lee Morrison delivered the day’s last lesson, which focused on the Psychology of dealing with and deploying violence.
This lecture, taken from UC’s very effective PSY-COM curriculum, identified the basic cornerstone for all combative efficiency, which without a doubt begins and finishes in your brain!
As usual, keep an open mind and take what you need – you won’t be disappointed!
