Sensei Hideharu Igaki will lead us through the in-depth kicking techniques, fighting applications, and real-world combat of Karate Shito Ryu in the framework of this DVD. Sensei Hideharu Igaki was a professional Kickboxer before moving to the United States and becoming the head coach of the United States Karate Federation.
Basics (kihon), transitional techniques (henkawaza), combos (renzokuwaza), feints (kensei), and countering with kicks are divided into five divisions. Maegeri, mawashigeri, kakegeri, ushirogeri, ushiromawashigeri, and uchimawashigeri are all included in each. This software demonstrates in great detail more than 50 traditional kicking tactics for competition or self-defense using amazing slow motion sequences.
Hideharu Igaki Sensei, born September 7, 1956, is in his second decade as the Head Coach of the USA National Karate Federation U.S. National Karate Team. His black belt is in Fujitani-Ha Shito-Ryu Meibu-Kai, and he is an instructor in Tenshin-Ko-Ryu Kenpo.
