Destructive Elbow Attacks by HELLBOWS
There you are, minding your own business at a bar, when this big jerk takes you by surprise and spins you around to slug you with a gigantic right hand…whooomp!
Identity theft? Did you think you looked at him funny? Doesn’t like how much fun you and your pals are having? Just another out-of-control drunk? Now is not the time to find out or think!
As his fist flies towards your skull, you flex your elbow, and his bicep bursts in anguish. He swings his second meathook at you in response to the unexpected shock, but two more of your elbow punches break it and you whip him to the ground where he belongs with an invisible forearm crank and a small spin.
Security arrives and drags him out by grabbing him off the floor. One of them touches your shoulder.
“Are you all right, buddy?” the bouncer inquires. “I thought he was going to knock your head off with those tremendous punches.”
“Yeah, he smacked me really hard,” you admit. “I’m glad I had my hands up.”
“That, and he was so dunk his he stumbled after that second shot,” he laughs. “In any case, you keep out of mischief and have a better evening.”
As you search for your pals, you begin to reflect on what has just occurred.
Everything you accomplished was unnoticed. There were no stunning punching combinations or flashy kicks. There was no blood on the floor, no chipped teeth, no obvious traces of a struggle (though that joker will have some spectacular deep-muscle bruises on his arms tomorrow)
You were fortunate to have mastered the technique of executing powerful elbow assaults, dubbed sarcastically in the Comtech curriculum as ‘Hellbows’!
Hellbows teaches you how to integrate your elbows to strike and control out of traps, as opposed to the simple elbow assaults taught in Karate or Kick Boxing. You’ve trained to fight at this range on earlier Comtech DVDs, and now you’ll learn how to use the elbow to throw an opponent off balance or destroy them!
A fluid set of five elbow shields also thoroughly covers the notion of employing the elbow defensively. If you saw the elbow shields merged with the kerambit in Modern Knives #2, you’ve had a peek of them, but here we get detailed on how to train and utilize them against compound striking and kicking techniques.
Learn how these five basic motions may combine to build a steel barrier that protects from an assault while also damaging the oncoming limb. The attacker’s force, size, and strength are their own undoing with elbow shields – the harder they hit, the more it will harm them when they impact the shield! It’s like in old Buggs Bunny cartoons when someone tried to slug Buggs and instead of blocking, he’d pick up an anvil and let them hit it instead – yowzah, dat hoits indeed!
Hellbows is the first new release in the Comtech New-Millennium Series, and it was shot ‘live’ on a ranch in Oregon.
