Courses Content :
- Topics: Worry | Short Course
Faculty: Neil Fiore, PhD Category: Brief Therapy Conference | Brief Therapy Conference 2012
Date of Original Program: December 5, 2012 Description
Learning to shift from concern to wonder relieves conscious effort and frees up energy for speedy recuperation and healing. Reframing concern as an unconscious mind request for a strategy to withstand an impending disaster helps lower stress hormones and muscular tension while improving immune system health. Knowing you have access to deep unconscious wisdom and support liberates the conscious mind and prepares it for a healing surprise.
Objectives of Education:
To a client, define concern as a beneficial process that seeks a solution for survival and self-acceptance.
Describe two helpful responses to the client’s anxious mind’s “Yes, but” and “What if” voices.
List three strategies to change the client’s focus from concern to curiosity about the body’s and unconscious’s support.
